The Founder
Etti Inbal, Ph.D., founder and executive director of the CINEMATEC is a filmmaker, educator, and entrepreneur devoted to creativity, cultural dialogue, and community engagement. She founded MediaKid, an innovative computer learning center empowering children and adults through technology, and developed award-winning educational science software recognized with the Parents’ Choice Award. A graduate of the Weizmann Institute of Science and former guest scientist at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Dr. Inbal brings a strong research-based approach to her storytelling. Her documentary short, Outside In: Life of a Figure Model (2023), has appeared in international festivals, receiving multiple awards and nominations.
